WHAT’S NEXT
Ongoing: The Small Particulars is out now!
My first poetry chapbook, The Small Particulars is available now! This collection of poems spans 10 years of writing in the margins — at odd hours, on scrap papers, when I was meant to be doing other work, in the shower. Like a handful of pebbles and shells collected from a beach, it’s an ode to the tiny moments that make up a life, and the portals they provide us to wonder, sorrow, longing and love. May 16, 2026: Forest Bathing Event with Earthbody Presence
Experience the magical land of The Verdancy Project through the restorative practice of forest bathing. Connect with your senses, relax your nervous system, and nourish your whole self while moving slowly and intentionally through this gorgeous forest ecosystem along Beaver Creek. Julie Jansen of Earthbody Presence, a certified Forest Therapy Guide, will offer a series of invitations to help you cultivate presence and interact with nature in creative new ways. I’ll be sharing poems as part of the opening and closing ceremonies.
May 30 -31 2026: SPRING: A Haywire Hijinks (in five acts) with Bedrock Theatre
SPRING is a workshop production and the third installment in Bedrock’s outdoor performance cycle celebrating the turning of the seasons. A site-responsive work inspired by Spring’s ecology and folklore, the piece will invite audiences to experience the shift from Winter’s stillness to movement, frenzy, profusion and renewal through original music, playful exploration of space and nature-inspired storytelling. This performance will be presented in partnership with Tualatin Hills Nature Park, a 222-acre wildlife preserve in the heart of Beaverton.
