WHAT’S NEXT?

April 2025: Room of Forgotten Souls (workshop) with Bedrock Theatre (Devising Ensemble Member)

In collaboration with Professor Jonathan Cole of Willamette University, Bedrock artists will explore and develop material inspired by Oregon State Hospital and the “Library of Dust”: the cremains of thousands of unclaimed OSH patients who were interred in copper canisters and forgotten. The resulting explorations will serve as a jumping off point for Willamette students, who will begin their own devising process with the material in 2026.

April 24, 2025: Renegala with Renegade Opera (Performer)

Renegade Opera kicks off their fifth anniversary season with their annual friend-raising and fundraising event The Renegala! This year Renegade Opera is partnering with the Heathman Hotel to present a program entitled Hot Goss, weaving the sordid gossip of western classical music’s most famous composers with performances of some of their most well known and little known works, in addition to a preview of Renegade Opera’s upcoming season of performances. As always, the Renegala features an opportunity to support Renegade Opera’s 5th season by participating in a silent auction and raffle, an interactive performance space with surprise performances throughout the evening, a photo booth, and more! Both bites and drinks are included in your ticket price. Join us for an evening of sweets, serenades & secrets! Performing artists include Abigail Krawson, Jesse Preis, Claire Robertson-Preis, Madeline Ross, Joellen Sweeney, Madeleine Tran, Emily Way, and a few special guests!

June 14 - 15, 2025: Bird Songs of Opera with Renegade Opera (Director)

Trade your opera glasses for binoculars at Bird Songs of Opera, an outdoor recital that reimagines iconic opera arias as the songs of Oregon birds! Stroll the trails of the beautiful Leach Botanical Garden, keeping your ears open for strains of Mozart and more and your eyes peeled for flashes of glamorous plumage. This production is a delight for bird watchers and opera lovers of all ages.

Summer 2025: CoastWatch & Listen with Bedrock Theatre (Audio Engineer/Composer)

CoastWatch & Listen is a community science and storytelling collaboration between Bedrock Theatre and Oregon Shores Conservation Coalition. Bedrock is interviewing CoastWatch volunteers in order to share their stories in an audio production series, alongside original site-specific compositions inspired by our exploration of their adopted coastal miles. This project will culminate in an interactive digital map produced by Oregon Shores that analyzes 30+ years of data compiled from CoastWatch mile reports, where folks can find our fully-produced audio segments linked to their corresponding mile markers.
